The Richard Chapman Equestrian Ditch has arrived!
The latest addition to the 2.5km long cross country course at Manor Farm has been built in a hedge at the bottom of Monk Meadow approximately half way round the course.
Crafted from creosoted timber planks the coffin style ditch has been set 18 inches into the ground. Upon approaching the jump it spans 2 foot wide and has been placed in front of a 2'9 timber rail.
The ditch will be ready to jump by competitors at our first summer hunter trial organised by Frampton Family Riding Club this Sunday, and will be available to test out by liveries and other cross country enthusiasts hiring the course, at any time thereafter.
